A scrape is normally an over-sized circle or oval of exposed dirt that is 6 to 7 feet in diameter. When you see scrapes or rubs near or on the trail, it will indicate that you are in buck territory. A buck passing thru his territory will check his scrape for other deer that have recently been in the area. A skilled hunter will spend every minute possible in the woods because in the rut deer are moving almost all day.

My family and I love to camp, but I guess you could say I am somewhat of a “fair weather” camper, since the idea of camping in any kind of bad weather does not appeal to me. But, like it or not, weather has a way of happening, so having a tent that can handle whatever Mother Nature has in mind is important. So why would people choose to use boat auctions instead of just buying one on their own and not dealing with any possibility of a hassle? First, boats that are bought in a boat auction usually cost only a fraction of the hefty price tag they were purchased originally for. It’s also common for people who can’t buy a boat directly from a dealer because of poor credit to try auction houses because many houses will finance boats to anyone. And many people find that older, antique boats – which are hard to find anywhere – often go up for auction after someone passes away, giving them an opportunity to find a rare treasure.
